Job Description:
Interact with clients based in US/Europe/APAC from project briefs to project sign-off
Manage multiple large projects internally and externally by scheduling work for projects and teams and completing deliverables on-time and within budget
Prepare estimates for projects based on project briefs from the client or the sales team at the initial stages, and monitoring adherence to these budgets once the project starts
Provide training on project requirements to the team and guidance through constructive and destructive reviews of their outputs
Review developed courses to ensure quality of the final output is as per the clients' requirements
Mentor and guide Trainee Project Leads to handle projects internally and with clients (depending on experience)
Candidate Profile:
Job profile involves estimating and scoping out projects based on a brief from the client or the sales team
Managing end-to-end projects, scheduling, and planning deliveries
Being hands-on in production when required in the project
Interacting with the Instructional Design, Graphics, and Programming team to deliver outputs as per the requirement
Providing training to the team as needed
Working on SOWs and invoices
Communicating with the client on a daily basis, initiating calls and virtual meetings when needed to discuss progress or address client queries
Ensuring quality and consistency throughout the entire development phase of the project
Creating and monitoring processes during the entire project life-cycle
Generating additional sales from existing clients
Working with the Functional Heads for resource planning and allocations
Experience:
2-5 years of experience working in an eLearning company as a Project Manager
Mandatory Skills:
Excellent command over the English Language (both spoken and written)
Ability to work independently as well as work in teams
Ability to plan own work as well as everyone else on the team, and adhere to project schedules
Good knowledge of computers, especially MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)-MS Project experience would be preferred
Exposure to multiple types of projects
Exposure to projects of international clients and audiences
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
Desirable Skills:
Some experience of interacting with clients on projects or managing projects internally in eLearning companies
A fair understanding of importance of client budgets, specifications, and requirements
Ability to lead people from other non-eLearning domains if required
Plan, document, and successfully execute timelines
Working knowledge of how to estimate and schedule eLearning projects internally
Working knowledge or exposure to rapid authoring tools like Articulate, Captivate, and Lectora
Candidates possessing production or development domain knowledge of either Instructional Design, Graphics or Programming—OR at least come from any of these skill-sets will be preferred
Note:
Only those who have had some experience with managing projects internally and externally and communicating with clientswill be considered for the Project Manager positions. Candidates with functional experience but no experience communicating with clients will be considered for the Project Lead or Trainee Project Lead positions, depending on experience
Fresh Project Managers or Fresh MBAs will be considered for junior positions
