Position: Instructional Designer

Job Description:
  • Manage projects internally and externally by scheduling work for projects and teams and delivering accordingly
  • Analyze target audience profiles
  • Analyze content to identify content gaps and create course outlines
  • Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and define learning objectives for courses
  • Storyboard and review storyboards for WBTs
  • Develop and review developed material for ILTs
  • Develop instructional and assessment strategies for projects/courses
  • Document design and writing specifications and guidelines
  • Provide inputs to the visual design team and programming team for the development of course GUIs, design guidelines, and programming specifications
  • Lead a team of Instructional Writers and provide training on project requirements and guidance through constructive and destructive reviews of their outputs
  • Review developed courses to ensure quality of the final output is as per the clients' requirements
  • Candidate Profile:
  • Job profile involves content analysis, storyboarding WBTs (hands-on experience across levels 1 and 2 at the least), working with graphics team to get ideas across, experience with reviewing storyboards and outputs, etc.
  • Should have a good understanding of specifications and requirements
  • Should have knowledge of a full project life cycle including timelines and targets, flexibility with extended hours, etc.
  • Good command over the English Language (both spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software (Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience:
    1–3 years experience in an eLearning company in the content domain
    Mandatory Skills:
  • Should have working knowledge of Instructional Design concepts and theories
  • Should have experience with storyboarding and reviewing
  • Should have a good understanding of importance of client budgets, specifications, and requirements
  • Must have a good command over the English Language (both spoken and written)

    Position: Instructional Writer

    Job Description:
  • Create storyboards as per the Instructional design specifications and guidelines created for a course/project by an Instructional Designer
  • Write structured content for eLearning courses that is suitable for specified target audiences developing for a variety of courses ranging from soft-skills to application training, etc.
  • Create material for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses including instructor guides, student guides, instructor presentations, handouts, job-aids, etc.
  • Interact with Graphic Designers and Programmers to communicate ideas and help create engaging eLearning courses as a team.
  • Learn and use rapid development tools to create courses on your own without the assistance of programmers/developers
  • Candidate Profile:
  • Good command over the English Language (both spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software (Word and PowerPoint)

    Position: Flash Programmer

    Job Description:
  • Create the technical architecture for eLearning courses using Flash, Action Script, and XML
  • Develop Flash interactivities using ActionScript 1.0 or 2.0
  • Develop courses as per standards such as SCORM
  • Should be able to test courses for integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS), troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Candidate Profile:
  • Engineer with background in Web development or new media technologies with desire to work in the eLearning industry

    Position: Senior Flash Programmer

    Job Description:
  • Understand client eLearning requirements and developing a technical plan to implement these requirements for WBT or CBT courses
  • Create the technical architecture for eLearning courses using Flash, Action Script, and XML
  • Develop a template driven development model for building courses that allows for re-use of assets and build efficiency
  • Ensure that the course complies with standards such as SCORM and AICC
  • Should be able to test courses for integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS), troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Researching new tools and technologies that are relevant to eLearning and authoring of courses
  • Documenting, conducting test trials with new tools and technologies and implementing them in a development/production environment
  • Pursue efforts to improve the technical standards within the company as far as eLearning technology is concerned to enhance productivity and efficiency

    Position: Graphic Designer

    Job Description:
  • Create Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for eLearning courses
  • Review, understand storyboards created by Instructional Designers, and be able to doodle (rough sketch) your ideas
  • Contribute/exchange ideas during brainstorming sessions with Instructional Designers to help create designs
  • Implement storyboards for WBTs and CBTs in Flash (create static graphics or animations as per graphic descriptions provided in the storyboards)
  • Work in sound editing tools to edit audio and sync them in other tools

  • Must have experience working on projects for international clients (North America, and/or Europe)
